Paradise in the heart of Koh Lanta

Words cannot describe our love for the Lanta Palace. We couldn't stop smiling from the moment we arrived. The resort is stunning with beautiful, luxurious, spacious bungalows that have everything you need. The pool area is so peaceful and relaxing. We spent many mornings and afternoons taking constant dips as we watched the palm trees sway and the ocean waves gently roll in whilst reading our books and sipping on a delicious cocktails. The restaurant is sensational! We planned on having some dinners in the local area but ended up eating at the restaurant our entire stay because we couldn't get enough of their incredible food and desserts (there chocolate ice cream is made on site and is easily the best we had ever tasted). The chef is a genius. The breakfasts are stacked with so many local and western options that will suit everyone's tastes. The staff are exceptional and so friendly, sweet and helpful. They truly made our stay so easy and went above and beyond to cater to anything and everything we may need. Special mention to Nee, Rai, Nat, Nok and Rin who were always checking in on us or giving us great advice or just having a friendly chat during our time there. The hotel was also really helpful in arranging day trips and car hire to explore the island. It's highly convenient having all those accomodations available at the front desk. Other things we liked were the massages by the beach, the boardgames and library of books available for guests to read, happy hour at the beachside bar, the beautiful sunsets over the ocean, the lush plants and gardens throughout the resort, the location of the property with a great cafe next door and massage spas across the road. Without a doubt we will return to this wonderful resort that we can not highly recommend enough!

Paradise Found

This was our second visit to Lanta Palace and it gets better with each visit! The rooms are spacious, well thought out and tastefully decorated, the pool is the most relaxing place to spend the day lounging, reading a book and sipping on cocktails, the views are to die for , the restaurant is 5* with so much variety, great presentation and a delicious mix of western and Thai dishes. What makes this resort so special and the need to return other than the above points, are the staff. They are so welcoming, full of humour and take care of your every need. Thank you Sam and Jackie for creating such a wonderful resort. We left feeling utterly relaxed and ready to head back to the grind. Until next time, thank you again Lanta Palace team xxx

Honeymoon stay in Ko Lanta

Amazing hotel with staff willing to go the extra mile Owners being on site were great to chat with! Villa was stunning, pool and beach were ideal to switch off felt like paradise. Location is great short walk to a number of bars and restaurants if you fancy a change of scenery. Food at all times was great, fresh made smoothie and eggs when you sit at breakfast was a great touch. We were blown away by our stay and just gutted we had to leave

A little bit of paradise.

The Villa was exceptional stunning. The location was beautiful next to a private beech area. Restaurant extending out to the beech area, creating a feeling of intimacy. The views to the open sea were inspirational, cosy way to watch the sun set at night. The owners are hospitable and always to hand to help. Making this a truly remarkable stay.

Exceptional

Great boutique hotel with individual villas, nice views over the sea, comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden is very well maintained, all together is a paradise corner. The place is very quiet, but if you like you can get more action from nearby beaches, with plenty of restaurants, within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The hotel management made all efforts to accommodate our requests, overall we had a fantastic holiday.

Just a remark, the first interaction with the reception staff was not that pleasant, but afterwards they provided a very good service.

Beautiful location with wonderful staff. The restaurant is also beachfront and they open the doors to take in the ocean sounds. While the food was a bit more on the expensive side, it was well worth it in terms of quality! You can hear the waves from your bed

Stunning hotel with pool right beside the beach. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Owners of the hotel very involved and make you feel welcome. Dining area is gorgeous and comes to life at night time.

Everything we could have asked for and more.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The staff were amazing, the property itself was so chill and the perfect place to unwind. The meals from the restaurant were 10/10. Breakfast was excellent. Honestly a 10/10 stay.

Best place we've stayed on Koh Lanta

Fantastic resort, beautiful pool and dining area for any time of day. The rooms are great, we especially enjoyed the beach front (B1) room and waking up to fantastic views each morning. Food in the restaurant is really good too and excellent value. The staff couldn't be more accommodating, shout out to all of them Khun Nee, Khun Cha and the whole squad. They were all fantastic. Owners are lovely and came to say hello at breakfast as well. Lovely private beach with crabs and very clean too compared to a couple of the beaches on Lanta. We'll definitely be back.

Only small issue was the water pressure in the shower could have been a bit better, but I was most disappointed with the fact thst I had to go back to reality when we checked out.

Amazing resort. Best place to just relax and never leave again

If you want to treat yourself or just have a perfect beach holiday. This is the place you need to go to. The owner Sam and Jackie make sure that all guests feel very welcome. The bungalows are astonishing beautiful and we loved to relax on our private terrace. Live music on Wednesdays, dinner and breakfast at the beach. Great breakfast. I could go on and on, amazing stay!

On the basis that we loved our stay: - the pool could be cleaned more often during the day - the beach sand next to the sunbeds should be thoroughly cleaned. We found some broken glass and sun shade equipment - on a windy day some sun shades were flying off and there was no response from the staff. Also, some holders of the sun shades are very rusty and therefore you could not fix it when the sun shades flew off.

Wonderful

The best about this hotel was the staff. They very super attentive without being intrusive and paid attention to every detail. We felt very welcomed throughout our stay. The view from the pool is amazing and you can enjoy wonderful sunsets from there. The beach is also very nice and clean compared to other beaches of the island. The restaurant is very good as well, and the breakfast was by far the best one we had in Thailand (and we stayed only at 5* hotels during our trip): good coffee, fresh smoothies, lots of of fresh fruits, homemade bread…

The only downside was the nearby mosque: they call 5 times a day to pray and you can hear it both from the pool as well as from the room. Two out of three nights we woke up at 4.50 am due to the sunrise call (and we both were wearing earplugs). Apart from that everything was perfect.

Beautiful 5 star resort and service on the cozy peaceful island of Koh Lanta

Beautiful place on a nice quiet beach. The owners Sam and Jackie were wonderful, greeting us each day with a smile. The food and drinks at the restaurant were exceptional. Staff are great and rooms are great, exactly as described. Everything went smooth with the ferry/airport transfers. Would recommend this wonderful place to anyone

A little piece of paradise!

We stayed at Lanta Palace for 3 nights after staying on various other busy nearby islands. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The resort is stunning and very luxurious and the rooms are fantastic! The sunsets from the beach are amazing, I would recommend booking dinner in the hotel one night, beachfront dinner and drinks while watching the sunset and the food was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and attentive and really made our stay special. Ko Lanta itself is a beautiful island, there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and a supermarket. We did the trip to skull island, kayaking and mangroves which was a great way to see the beautiful island. We would definitely come back to Lanta Palace!

This is a beautiful resort. My room was great and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The resort is located right next to the beach and the pool overlooks the beach. Loved the little pool bar and the cocktails were delightful. The owners are very nice and make you feel right at home. The staff were all very helpful and super friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe. Every meal I had from the onsite restaurant was delicious, I even got room service a couple of evenings which was great! Highly recommend this place in Lanta.

Beautiful paradise resort in Koh Lanta.

This property is managed by a lovely couple, Sam and Jackie. Service at this beach front property/resort was exceptional. Food was probably the best we had during our island hopping trip in Thailand. We booked several tours with Lanta Palace - a snorkel tour and Elephant Sanctuary Tour. The Staff was incredibly helpful and efficient in booking these for us - esp since we booked last minute. Rooms were gorgeous with high ceilings, amazing wood art work doors and chandeliers to offer a spectacular design experience in your room. There is a small town within walking distance which we didn't check out but would have loved to walk around more if we had time. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting an elevated experience!

Exceptional

We stayed in a beach front villa as part of our honeymoon trip. The room was spacious, well laid out with the comfiest bed ever! The balcony overlooked the pool/beach so we were able to witness the most amazing sunsets whilst having a beer on the balcony/terrace. The staff are all very nice, they remember your name, room number and things you like. The owners also make an effort to introduce themselves and are present everyday to ensure your stay is perfect. Special mention to Nee (I think this was his name) he took our bags to the room and looked after reception some days. Great guy and very funny. The food and drinks are both incredible tasting and very well priced - in line with the island prices which was great value for money. (Morning smoothies are very special) Overall perfect resort - the negative comments on reviews are very very nit-picky. There are places in close proximity but 5 minutes walk. (The sacrifice you make for a secluded quiet beach resort). 100% recommend.
